Structural construction of a four-storey hillside villa, featuring a post-tensioned slab supporting a 200 m² open-plan living area and a 13.5 m opening onto the pool terrace.

Samui Modern Construction was contracted to construct Villa Ivan’s structural works, with the post-tensioned slab requirement central to our appointment.

The villa comprises more than 800 m² of living space across four floors. Built into the hillside, its structure incorporates reinforced-concrete retaining walls and foundations extending more than three metres deep.

The post-tensioned first-floor slab enabled a 200 m² open-plan living area with just two main central columns and a 13.5 m opening onto the pool terrace. This arrangement created expansive living space and views towards Bangrak and Koh Samui Airport.

Our scope covered structural construction only. Finishing works were managed separately.
