Jungle View Pool

A secluded hillside pool with a curved wheelchair-access ramp, pebble finish and flagstone terrace, overlooking the islands south of Koh Samui.

The Project

Built around the
requirements of the site.

Samui Modern Construction created a wheelchair-accessible swimming pool and terrace in a secluded hillside setting, surrounded by jungle with views towards the southern islands.

Built above a four-metre boulder retaining wall, the project transformed a narrow strip of land into almost 100 m² of usable pool and terrace space.

The curved access ramp was cast as a monolithic concrete section. Precise formwork allowed waterproofing and the pebble finish to be applied directly to the concrete without a separate render layer.

Flagstone paving and feature lighting completed the outdoor space. Greenhouse Engineering supplied and installed the salt-chlorination system, automatic pH dosing and spa jets.
