Villa Juno – Pool & Deck
A new 11 × 5.5 m swimming pool and 260 m² travertine terrace at Villa Juno, featuring a dark blue pebble finish, bespoke curved steps and integrated LED lighting.
The Project
Built around the
requirements of the site.
Villa Juno’s new swimming pool and terrace created a dedicated space for swimming, relaxing and outdoor living at this private residence in Bophut, Koh Samui. The project began in November 2024 and was completed in June 2025.
Samui Modern Construction managed the entire project, from design and engineering coordination through structural construction, finishes, specialist installations and commissioning. The 11 × 5.5 m pool was built using monolithic reinforced-concrete construction and finished with a dark blue pebble surface. Approximately 260 m² of surrounding terrace was finished in natural travertine.
The bespoke curved steps were a defining detail of the project. Their geometry, tile layout and finishing required careful setting out and workmanship to achieve consistent curves and a clean stone finish. Integrated LED lighting beneath the steps highlights their shape after dark.
The pool incorporates a salt-chlorinated skimmer system installed by Greenhouse Engineering, with lighting by Island Electrical. Coordinating these specialist works alongside the pool and terrace construction brought the structure, finishes and operating systems together as a complete installation.
